ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਗਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 15000 ਰੁਪਏ ਸ਼ਗਨ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਧਵਾ/ਤਲਾਕਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਡਾ. ਭੀਮਰਾਓ ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਦੇ ਦੇਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵੱਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਕਦਮ।
