ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਿਫਾਇਨਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ 5ਵੀਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਿਫਾਇਨਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਰਿਫਾਇਨਰੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ 62 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਟਨ ਤੋਂ 213 ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਟਨ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। 4 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਤੇਲ ਰਿਫਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਹੈ।
Guru Gobind Singh Refinery is the fifth biggest refinery in India and it contributes to increasing refining capacity of India from 62 million tonnes to 213 million tonnes. With an investment of over $4 billion, it is the largest company in the state of Punjab and it is also the largest Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the Oil Refining Sector in India.
